Eric is back from Singapore, bearing gifts.  Kimonos.
Isaac is out flying around Portland.
Mark is leaving for Yakima in the morning.
Dave and I are deploying in a few months.
Tim is in Yakima.
Mike is crashing on a spare bed.

In and out, in and out.  The house is full and empty, depending on the week.

Thought from my QT out of Acts 5.33-42.  The Jewish counsel wants to kill the apostles, but a Pharisee, Gamiliel stands up in defense and says, remember Theudas rose up and had 400 or so followers, but he was eventually killed and his followers dispersed.  And then Judas of Galilee came around and he had some followers too, but he was killed and his followers dispersed.
These Jesus followers...if they are phonies, the same will happen to them. But if this is the real article, "you will not be able to over throw them, or else you may be even found fighting against God."
This person Jesus lived a short life 2000 years ago.  Homeless, poor, never married, never held position in office, eventually beaten and crucified with a few common criminals.
And the impact of this shattering personality...
More songs written, more books, more art created, more people talking about, than any other person in history, ever.  2000 years later, "Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust."

Application:  Find out who this Jesus is.  Follow the evidence.
